Description

• Conduct evaluations for patients in inpatient or outpatient settings and create tailored treatment plans to promote recovery
• Implement physical therapy interventions aimed at improving mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Collaborate closely with nurses, physicians, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation professionals to enhance patient outcomes
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding therapeutic objectives, discharge protocols, and home exercise regimens
• Ensure meticulous documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in compliance with facility standards
• Engage in interdisciplinary care team rounds and conferences to promote coordinated patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Preferred CPR certification
• Additional certifications (e.g., in neurology or geriatrics) are advantageous but not mandatory

Skills

• Prior clinical experience is highly preferred
