We are currently hiring dependable and caring Direct Care Workers to assist individuals in residential and semi-independent living programs.

No previous experience? No problem. Paid training and certification are provided.

Position Overview

As a Direct Care Worker, you will help individuals maintain independence, safety, and quality of life while providing day-to-day support in AFC-licensed homes and community living settings.

Daily Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care needs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
• Prepare meals and assist with light household tasks
• Support medication routines
• Transport residents using company vehicles
• Encourage independence and positive daily routines
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow care plans

Available Shift Options

• 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 10:00 PM – 10:00 AM

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid Michigan driver's license in good standing
• CPR/First Aid and CBIS certifications are a plus, but not required
• Experience in caregiving, direct care, CNA, rehabilitation, or TBI support is beneficial
