Additional Information About the Role St. Louis Children’s Hospital has a full-time opportunity for a Physical Activity Tech. In this role, you will assist Rehab Therapists as a second set of hands with patients (as needed) and maintain the therapy equipment and areas throughout the day. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Provides routine, non-skilled patient treatments as prescribed by the physician and directed by the licensed therapist or therapist assistant. Assists in maintaining inventory of supplies, forms and organizing the clinical environment for safe and effective patient care. Responsibilities Assists the therapist by performing non‑skilled activities that are critical to a patient's treatment. Transports patients safely and in a timely fashion. Inputs rehab charges, prepares charts, charge sheets and other documentation required for treatment, and creates, complies, maintains and organizes patient handouts and other departmental reports.
