Chick-fil-A Pines and 160th is seeking a dedicated Back of House Team Leader to assist in the efficient and smooth operation of our kitchen and food preparation processes. As a Back of House Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring food quality, safety, and kitchen performance during designated shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Kitchen Supervision:
• Lead the back-of-house team during assigned shifts, overseeing food preparation, cooking, and assembly processes.
• Ensure that Chick-fil-A's high food quality and safety standards are consistently maintained.
• Team Support and Training:
• Assist the Back of House Director in training and mentoring kitchen staff to ensure they perform their roles effectively.
• Provide guidance, motivation, and support to team members during busy shifts.
• Order Management:
• Coordinate with the front-of-house team to ensure accurate and efficient order preparation and delivery.
• Help streamline kitchen operations to meet peak demand without compromising on food quality.
• Food Safety and Cleanliness:
• Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations, emphasizing food safety practices and cleanliness.
• Conduct regular equipment checks and ensure preventive maintenance tasks are completed.
• Inventory and Supply Management:
• Assist in managing inventory levels and orders for kitchen supplies and ingredients.
• Monitor food costs and wastage to optimize profitability while maintaining quality.
• Communication:
• Maintain effective communication with both front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure a cohesive and coordinated work environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food service role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
• Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
