Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Critical Care Float Discipline: RN Start Date: 07/29/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days, nights Employment Type: Travel Tele/MedSurg Prescreen Shift: 3x12s (7:00 AM–7:00 PM / 7:00 PM–7:00 AM) Experience: 2+ years Tele/MedSurg experience Required: BLS, ACLS (NIHSS required for Neuro), strong EKG interpretation, must titrate cardiac drips Screening: Dysrhythmia exam (2 attempts max) before contract + pass/fail Sim Lab on Day 1 Float: Yes Patient Ratios: Tele 1:3–4 | Med/Surg 1:4 Patient Population: CV Tele: Post-cath, vascular procedures, CABG, cardiac drips (Amio, Cardene, Nitro, Heparin, Dobutamine) Neuro Tele: CVA, post-TPA, craniotomy, spine surgery Med/Surg: Ortho, surgical, oncology, urology, abdominal surgery, general telemetry Weekend: Every other weekend (Tele) / 4 weekend shifts every 4 weeks (Med/Surg) EMR/Tele: Centralized telemetry with EKG interpretation required Scrubs: Navy Blue Orientation: 2 floor shifts Highlights: Auto-offer after prescreen, broad float pool, strong telemetry and cardiac skills required.
