Registered Nurse (RN), MedSurg- Acute Care

Role Overview The RN Clinical Nurse is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed caregivers who ensure patients, families, and significant others receive individualized, high‑quality, safe patient care. The position is staffed in a clinical environment administered by Nurse Managers and other leaders and supported through Wellstar’s Shared Governance Model. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in an inpatient setting, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, evidence‑based care. Participate in the Wellstar Professional Practice Model and uphold organizational values of compassion, excellence, and honoring every voice. Qualifications Minimum Education: Associate’s Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma. Preferred Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. Required Licensure: RN – Registered Nurse (Single State) or RN‑Compact (multi‑state). Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required; additional certifications may be required on hire. Experience: Minimum one year of recent, direct patient care experience in an inpatient setting. Competencies: Align with well‐established RN competencies derived from Wellstar’s models and evidence‑based practice.
