FIFA Event Staff - Sound Transit Station

Description Position: Event Staff for FIFA World Cup Games Location: Sound Transit Stations, Seattle Position type: Temporary employee Shifts: 6‑8 hour shifts; times will depend on the game start time. Dates of work: June3rd,June15th,June24th,June26th,July1st,July6th. As Event Staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless and positive experience for customers using parking facilities during events. Your primary responsibilities include assisting customers with payment inquiries, managing challenging customer interactions, and facilitating the parking process. You will engage with customers during entry and exit procedures, document passes issued in the logbook, prepare shift reports, and sort tickets to contribute to operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Assist customers who are unsure of how to pay for their parking. Deal with irate customers and solve issues within the policy and framework set out for the site. Assist customers with the overall in/out process of parking. Identify and report parking equipment deficiencies and safety concerns to the direct supervisor. Perform litter pick‑up and, as required, shoveling/salting. Other duties assigned. Operate and maintain equipment belonging to Reimagined or the Property Manager during the shift. Interact face‑to‑face with customers. Ensure the site is kept clean, neat, and free of obstacles in accordance with site requirements. Control all tools and equipment required for duties. Maintain organization and order. Make suggestions and recommendations on job performance. Consult with supervisor or manager on parking‑operation matters. Log all issues/events in the logbook and report them to the direct supervisor. Work toward resolution in problem situations with customers and supervisors. Act as a front‑line employee in an important role. Wear uniforms with company logo or crest when on duty, in a neat and well‑groomed manner. Prioritize various jobs with supervisors or managers. Track levels of stocks and supplies. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Strong command of the English language; friendly, even‑temperament, cooperative; able to work independently and communicate effectively. High School Diploma or GED required. Customer service experience required. Parking‑related experience preferred. Benefits 401(k) plan with employer match.
