This position involves working three 12-hour night shifts. The nurse will be responsible for providing care to both adult and pediatric patients. Patient ratios are 1:4 for days and nights. On weekends, the nurse will work every third weekend. Charge nurse experience is preferred. Skills in conscious sedation and triage are necessary. The emergency department handles a variety of diagnoses. The facility provides normal urgent care and emergency department services. The total number of staffed beds is 17. Charting will be conducted using Epic. The department experiences a daily census of approximately 140. Candidates must be willing to float within their scope of practice as needed. A minimum of one supervisor reference is required during the application process. Candidates must satisfy background check requirements before starting. Fingerprints are mandatory for compliance with state regulations.
