Paralegal, Healthcare Rights and Access Section

Under the direction of the Deputy Attorney General Supervisor of the Public Rights Division and the Senior Assistant Attorney General, the successful candidate for this position will perform a wide variety of complex paralegal duties in support of the Section’s programs and processes. This position will focus on federal accountability work to ensure California's access to affordable and equitable healthcare, including against any threats from the federal administration. Our Deputy Attorneys General work often in teams that handle this proactive healthcare work in the Attorney General's Office, including difficult and complex legal work related to investigations, trials, and appeals on healthcare matters, which require the highest level of independent judgment. Therefore, experience supporting attorneys in complex and federal court matters is highly desirable. You will find additional information about the job in the Duty Statement.
