DISTRIBUTION COORDINATOR - 2ND SHIFT (Dickson, Tennessee, United States, 37055)

Dal‑Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, is the largest manufacturer of tile and natural stone in the United States. The Distribution Coordinator is an entry‑level contributor who provides administrative support to the Distribution Department. This role assists and coordinates distribution and logistics activities, manages inventory, and ensures timely delivery of products while providing excellent customer service to drivers and facility visitors. Duties and Responsibilities Greet drivers and other facility visitors. Assist drivers with check‑in and check‑out processes. Generate and analyze various reports using company systems for the department. Maintain and update departmental filing systems and databases for record‑keeping. Interact with customers and various departments inside and outside the organization. May assist with accounts payable regarding invoices, billing, and statements. May assist with scheduling to ensure accuracy of shipments and to help with distribution productivity. Assist with maintaining various compliance needs for the department. Gain understanding of company operations and industry trends; identify potential process improvements. Actively participate in group activities and collaborate with the team.Participate in generating alternative solutions and evaluating their feasibility. Identify, define, and address problems that are standard, readily identifiable, and typically within the immediate job area. Perform other duties as needed. Required Experience and Education Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience. 0–2 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience. Competencies Applies conceptual knowledge of the theories, practices, and procedures within a discipline. Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively. High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products.
