• Pay Rate: $16.00$49.66 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Days (First Shift)
• Work Arrangement: Hybrid schedule Mondays and Tuesdays onsite. Candidates who need to attend job walks on other days should notify their manager in advance and may skip the mandatory onsite days (Mondays and Tuesdays).
• Travel Requirements: Able to travel to job sites on an as-needed basis (generally less than once per month).
• Interview Process: Virtual one round.
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This role supports the scheduling of substation programs consisting of 100150 projects each under $25M with some level of complexity and requires the ability to document delays to provide time impact analysis. The position involves direct involvement in tasks necessary for successful project execution and collaborating across many groups and contractors to gather data and drive results.

Key Responsibilities

• Scheduling substation programs (100150 projects each under $25M with some level of complexity) and able to document delays to provide time impact analysis.
• Develops schedules and incorporates schedules already in use for parts of each project.
• Expert at master integrated schedules work breakdown structures (WBS) and calculating earned values.
• Direct involvement in tasks necessary for successful project execution.
• Identifies problems and solutions.
• Collaborates to establish project objectives timelines risk analysis milestones and deliverables.
• Utilizes project controls in exercising schedule management forecasting and performance monitoring such as variance analysis maintaining schedules and project plans identifying trends and assessing performance against schedule targets.
• Organizes and drives actions to resolve issues immediately or bring them to PM for action.
• An effective communicator is essential; data gathering will include many groups and contractors.

Required Skills

• Proficient in Primavera P6 ; 7 years experience in scheduling and capital projects/construction.
• Expert-level Primavera P6 skills with 57 years experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Word Excel PowerPoint Teams SharePoint Visio) and SAP.
• Excellent communication skills; must be able to communicate clearly and engage with stakeholders at senior levels.
• Experience in Project Management Construction or Project Controls.
• Strong understanding of construction activity sequencing.

Preferred Skills

• Utility experience; substation utility experience is a plus.
• Construction management experience.
• Prior substation construction experience is highly preferred.
• Professional credentials preferred: PSP PMP or an advanced degree (Masters or Doctorate).

Education Requirements

• Bachelors degree in business engineering or construction management (required).

Required Experience

• 7 years experience in scheduling and capital projects/construction.
• Expert-level Primavera P6 skills with 57 years experience.
