Work & Community Support Specialists Engage individuals in work, recreation, and other personal activities that promote living a preferred lifestyle in their community, providing a pathway to independence. Responsibilities Provide long‑term, on‑site, job support during an individual’s employment. Serve as a coach and advocate to foster success in the workplace. Support participation in volunteer and/or recreational activities to develop self‑advocacy, independent living, and communication skills. Ideal Candidate Desire to positively impact an individual’s life. Experience in high‑touch customer service environments. Enjoy working collaboratively yet able to work independently. Career Growth Opportunities Potential selection into Management Training Program for individuals with team management experience or informal leadership in sports, clubs, or civic organizations. Requirements Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the local community. Availability Monday – Friday during daytime hours (flexibility offered for part‑time).
