An established cardiovascular program in Memphis is seeking an Interventional Cardiologist to take over an active practice. This replacement position offers an established patient base and strong referral network from day one, with a practice centered on coronary intervention and the chance to help grow a structural heart program.

Practice Highlights

Join a collaborative cardiovascular team at a 476-bed teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Work alongside interventional and general cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, and dedicated APPs, with 24/7 specialty support across multiple disciplines.

Your practice will include diagnostic catheterization, PCI, STEMI intervention, high-risk PCI with immediate CT surgery backup, device implantation, and structural heart procedures, including TAVR and Watchman. While the practice is primarily high-volume coronary intervention today, leadership is actively investing in expanding structural heart services, creating an excellent opportunity for physicians interested in helping grow the program.

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-time schedule with approximately 3-4 clinic days per week
• Remaining time dedicated to cath lab, procedures, and administrative responsibilities
• Weekend call: 1:4
• Weeknight call (Mon-Thu): 1:3
• STEMI call differential
• Guaranteed first-year salary before transitioning to a productivity-based compensation model - Current providers earning up to 28k wRVUs which is 35% above the 90th percentile showcasing incredible earning potential
• Malpractice with tail coverage, 401(k), deferred compensation, and comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
• Experienced physicians preferred; strong graduating fellows encouraged to apply
• Interest in structural heart is welcomed
• NOT able to sponsor visa candidates at this time
