Senior Electrical Controls / PLC Technician (L3)

Core Personnel Staffing is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Controls / PLC Technician (L3) to support a long-term industrial automation project. This role is ideal for highly skilled technicians with extensive experience in PLC troubleshooting, electrical controls, and production line commissioning. Key Responsibilities Lead electrical controls debugging and implementation for advanced automation equipment. Provide guidance and technical support to L1/L2 technicians in: Bus system setup Verify I/O signals and perform parameter configuration. Diagnose and resolve PLC I/O and electrical control issues. Debug and commission equipment with 12+ axes and complete production lines. Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance and efficiency. Troubleshoot complex electrical and automation-related issues. Support equipment startup, process validation, and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical controls and PLC troubleshooting. Strong knowledge of: PLC systems Servo motors and motion control systems Experience commissioning and debugging complex automation equipment and production lines.
