Job Description
Provides consultative and advisory services to management in matters pertaining to areas of responsibility and identifies and resolves or refers significant or precedent-setting issues and problems to management.
Evaluates and analyzes the impact of new or revised changes to legislation before Congress pertaining to any CMS program by sharing feedback from providers, stakeholders, consumers, and beneficiaries.
Develops project plans to ensure logistics are handled efficiently, identifying potential bottlenecks and resolving issues within the scope of authority.
Acts as an Agency representative and contribute to discussions and planning sessions on program policy development. Interacts with and presents to a variety of audiences to further the Agency's external affairs program and messaging campaigns.
Coordinates and prepares responses to Office of the Inspector General and Government Accountability Office actions; monitor progress of associated corrective action plans.
