Dental Assistant FL, Doral – South FL Reception Center – DORAL, FL 33178 Position Type: Full-Time Job Shift: Day Education Level: High School Diploma/GED Travel Percentage: None Category: Dental Hygienist & Dental Assistant We are currently seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to join our team at South Florida Reception Center - Main Unit located in Doral, Florida. The Dental Assistant works under the direct supervision of the Dentist and/or Dental Hygienist in chairside dentistry in a correctional setting. Essential Duties Preparing and sterilizing dental instruments Preparing and maintaining the dental operatory Operating radiographic equipment Administrative tasks as needed Monday - Friday 7:30am-4:00pm Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent required Completion of a technical school program in dental assisting or six (6) months of experience as a Dental Assistant required Dental Assistant license or ability to obtain one required Certification as an expanded duty dental assistant preferred; if the candidate does not possess a current certificate, one must be obtained in the first year of employment Certification and/or previous experience performing dental x-rays preferred Must show/obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check Benefits Health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance 401(k) with company match Generous paid time off Paid holidays Flexible Spending Account Much more... #J-18808-Ljbffr Centurion
