Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers quality nursing care through the utilization of the nursing process. This role focuses on providing patient-centered care and works collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team to maintain standards for professional nursing practice. The RN will carry out functions according to hospital policy, the hospital mission, and standards of practice defined by professional and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assess the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of the patient.
• Plan and implement nursing care according to patient and family needs.
• Make appropriate interventions based upon individual patient needs.
• Evaluate patient responses to nursing interventions.
• Assume personal responsibility for quality patient care, patient satisfaction, environment, and professional development.

Schedule

This position offers a shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with the option for 4/12's with overtime after 48 hours or 3/12's with overtime after 40 hours.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 3+ years of ER experience - Required
• TNCC or ENPC certification - Required
• BLS (AHA) certification - Required
• ACLS (AHA) certification - Required
• Current RN license in Michigan
