Step into a vital leadership role supporting student well-being across multiple school communities! A contract opportunity is available for Licensed School Nurses (LSN) with expertise in school health, offering a chance to serve districtwide and make a tangible difference for students and staff.

As an itinerant nurse, you'll oversee health services for five schools, ensuring best practices in student care, health education, and emergency response. This on-site position is for the 2026-2027 academic year, with a weekly schedule of 35 hours, aligning with the school calendar.

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Current RN license, Public Health Nurse license, and School Nurse license (issued by the Board of Teaching)
• Current CPR and BLS certifications
• Prior experience in school nursing or a related pediatric setting strongly preferred
• Exceptional ability to collaborate with diverse school teams, students, and families
• Flexible, organized, and confident managing health needs across multiple sites

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering comprehensive nursing services to students across five schools
• Leading health and safety planning, chronic condition management, and emergency preparedness
• Providing health education and acting as a resource for school staff and families
• Maintaining accurate health records and ensuring compliance with state and district requirements
• Supporting student well-being through both clinical care and preventive strategies
