As a Behavioral Assistant , you’ll work directly with youth and families in their homes and communities, helping them build the skills they need to succeed.

In this role, you will:

• Provide hands-on support to youth with behavioral and emotional challenges

• Reinforce treatment goals developed by clinical staff

• Help build coping skills, communication, and positive behaviors

• Empower families by modeling effective strategies and support techniques

• Work closely with licensed clinicians as part of a collaborative care team

Minimum Requirements (per N.J.A.C. 10:77):

• High School Diploma or GED

• At least 21 years old

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience, such as:

  • Direct care in behavioral health (residential or outpatient)

  • Community-based work with youth and families

  • School-based or youth development programs
