Assistant Manager

Assistant Manager As an Assistant Manager, you help with day-to-day restaurant operations and assist the general manager and owners. Training and working alongside your team, you will also help manage food and labor costs. Assistant Managers play a major role in ensuring the store is in exceptional order and that employees perform duties properly and efficiently. You must lead by example and execute systems and procedures with 100% integrity. Enthusiastic, friendly, and positive attitude is required. Qualifications Eligibility to work in the United States, meet age and legal requirements. Prefer experience in management within the food industry, ordering, inventory, labor, and advanced management skills. Previous Jimmy John's management experience is preferred but not required. Ability to work 40-50 hours a week. Availability for day and night shifts. Open availability to be considered for this position. Minimum age 18 years. Basic understanding of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. Capability to perform, teach, and train all aspects of Assistant Manager, PIC, InShopper and Delivery Driver positions, as needed. Ability to handle fast-paced situations in the store. Organize and establish priorities with minimal supervision. Willing to coach and task-manage employees on store operations. Willing to offer opinions and recommendations to the General Manager. Physical ability to lift 30-40 lbs regularly throughout shifts. Physical ability to stand, bend, and reach throughout shifts.
