Job Responsibilities
  • Craft Individualized Therapy Plans: Assess patients' specific needs and create personalized intervention strategies to help them meet their functional objectives.
  • Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methodologies to enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive function, and abilities in daily living activities.
  • Collaborate with Multi-disciplinary Teams: Work closely with occupational, physical and speech therapists, physicians, and nursing staff to guarantee comprehensive and effective care.
  • Educate Patients and Families: Provide instruction to patients and their caregivers on therapeutic practices that support continued improvement outside of the clinic.
  • Evaluate and Update Treatment Protocols: Monitor patient progress, document clinical outcomes, and adjust therapy approaches to ensure effective treatment.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational institution.
  • Continuing education and additional certifications are encouraged and supported.
Certifications
  • Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required.
