Senior Caregiver

Caregiver PositionWe are seeking a compassionate Caregiver to join our team. The Caregiver will provide assistance to individuals in their daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being.Responsibilities include: assisting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing; providing companionship and emotional support; helping with meal preparation and medication reminders; performing light housekeeping tasks; escorting clients to appointments and running errands; monitoring and reporting changes in client's health status; and implementing behavior management techniques when necessary.Skills required include experience in assisted living or senior care environments, knowledge of HIPAA regulations, proficiency in caregiving techniques, ability to manage challenging behaviors effectively, familiarity with home care systems, background in childcare, social work, or related fields, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and competence in meal preparation for special dietary needs.This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need. Ability to commute/relocate: North/Western Suburbs: reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required). Work location: in person. Job types: full-time, part-time. Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour. Supplemental pay types: bonus opportunities.
