Working alongside our behavior analysts and behavior technicians, we specialize in evidence-based therapy services for children and adolescents diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Position Overview

Join our fun and supportive team! As a Registered Behavior Technician, you'll work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families. This role offers hands-on experience in applied behavior analysis while providing flexible scheduling and comprehensive support.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding of basic ABA principles and terminology following comprehensive training
• Implement behavioral interventions as determined by supervising BCBA
• Collect detailed, ongoing data to track client progress
• Follow Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) and all programming established by the BCBA
• Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and BACB Ethical Code
• Communicate effectively with team members, including therapists and BCBAs
• Maintain professional communication with families and caregivers while respecting ethical boundaries
• Provide services across various settings: home, daycare, school, community, or clinic
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical billing practices
• Utilize online scheduling and data collection platforms efficiently
• Respond promptly to emails and communications
• Attend all required meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities

Requirements

Certification & Training

• Complete 40+ hours of training to obtain Registered Behavior Technician Certification. We provide support and guidance for certification process upon job offer.
• Commitment to providing a consistent therapy schedule

Essential Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred
• Reliable transportation and valid insurance
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Preferred experience working with children and individuals with disabilities

Technical Requirements

• Proficiency with basic technology including tablets (iPad), virtual meeting platforms, email, and mobile applications
• Ability to navigate internet, access cloud-based files, and use word processing software
• Comfortable with online scheduling and data collection systems

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• Capable of fine and gross motor activities including bending, squatting, sitting at floor level, and standing for extended periods
• Ability to respond quickly and engage in rapid movement to ensure client safety, including brisk walking or running when necessary
