we are Maaco auto body shop.

We are seeking a Body Shop Estimator to manage vehicle inspections, assess collision damage, prepare and negotiate repair estimates, and coordinate repairs from initial customer contact through completion. This role uses CCC ONE for daily estimates, manages moderate to high repair volume, and works closely with the shop manager and production manager while providing end-to-end customer coordination.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles and assess collision damage.
• Prepare detailed repair estimates using CCC ONE.
• Coordinate parts and manage repair documentation.
• Serve as a liaison with insurance providers and process claims.
• Communicate with customers throughout the repair process.
• Manage supplements and negotiate estimates as needed.
• Track repairs through completion and maintain accurate status updates.
• Collaborate closely with the shop manager and production manager while managing moderate to high repair volume.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in automotive collision estimating.
• Training in Automotive Collision Repair or a related field.
• Experience using CCC ONE.
• Knowledge of automotive repair and insurance claims processing.
• Proficiency in cost estimation.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
