Assignment Details:

• Location: Aitkin, Minnesota (approximately 2 hours from Minneapolis and 1.5 hours from Duluth)
• Facility: 25-Bed Critical Access Hospital
• Contract Length: 13 Weeks
• Schedule: Days; 4 x 9-hour shifts (36 hours guaranteed)
• Call Requirement: 1 weekday call per week and every 6th weekend
• Openings: 1
• Start Date: ASAP

As an Operating Room Registered Nurse, here's a big-picture view of what you'll do:

• Provide exceptional perioperative nursing care in a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital
• Circulate a variety of surgical procedures while maintaining a safe and efficient operating room environment
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and the interdisciplinary team to deliver outstanding patient care
• Prepare patients before surgery and monitor patient safety throughout the surgical experience
• Document patient care accurately and communicate changes in patient condition
• Follow physician orders and facility policies while ensuring quality outcomes

A few must-haves for Operating Room Registered Nurses:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Active Minnesota RN license (or license pending )
• Recent Operating Room nursing experience
• Experience with:
  • C-Sections
  • da Vinci Robotic Surgery
  • Endoscopy Procedures
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment
