Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) in Chandler, Arizona. This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients in the Labor and Delivery Department. The RN will collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure safe and effective patient care throughout the childbirth process, utilizing professional nursing standards and clinical expertise.

Job Details:

• Shift Hours: Nights, 12 hours shift duration, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice, or a temporary/interim RN license for the state of practice, or compact RN licensure. BLS certification is required. Experience in Labor and Delivery or perinatal nursing is preferred, with at least 1 year of recent clinical experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred. Professional certification related to obstetrics or childbirth is advantageous.
• Additional Information: This role requires the ability to assess and respond to the physical, psychological, and social needs of laboring patients. The RN will perform patient assessments, develop and update care plans, administer medications, and support families through the childbirth process. The position involves direct patient care in a high-acuity environment, with the need for effective communication and teamwork.
