With 5 locations, Yarmouth, Westbrook, Bath, Windham and Portland, our physical therapists have advanced degrees in specialty orthopedic care from head to toe. We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team in Yarmouth, Maine. As a vital member of our rehabilitation services, you will provide comprehensive physical therapy to deliver optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include conducting thorough patient evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans, implementing evidence-based physical therapy interventions and monitoring patient progress, documenting patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes with attention to detail, supervising and coordinating care delivered by physical therapy assistants and rehabilitation technicians, establishing measurable treatment goals and adjusting plans based on patient progress, providing patient and caregiver education regarding treatment plans and home exercise programs, collaborating with referring physicians and other healthcare providers, maintaining accurate and timely documentation in compliance with healthcare standards, utilizing rehabilitation equipment and techniques effectively, participating in regular team meetings and care coordination discussions.

Qualifications include a graduate degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program, current Maine state physical therapy license or eligibility to obtain one, valid CPR certification, strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitation principles, excellent assessment and diagnostic skills, proven ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans, strong documentation and electronic health record skills, outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities, physical stamina and ability to assist patients with mobility, problem-solving and critical thinking skills, ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team, commitment to continuing education and professional development, experience with diverse patient populations preferred, new graduates are welcome to apply.
