Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans across body systems, including neuro (brain, MRA/MRV), spine (cervical to lumbar, trauma), MSK (shoulder, hip, knee, extremities), abdomen/pelvis, breast, and orbits/face/neck
• Execute advanced protocols: MRA/MRV, MRCP, diffusion, gradient echo, MIP, and multiplanar reconstruction
• Administer contrast with power injector and start peripheral IVs; monitor for adverse reactions
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and accurate positioning; maintain MRI safety standards and equipment readiness
• Optimize image quality, select appropriate sequences, and document procedures in EPIC
• Collaborate with radiology team; float to other areas as required

Requirements

• NY state license in hand at submission
• Minimum 2 years MRI experience (primary requirement; 1 year noted in internal notes)
• BLS certification
• EPIC charting experience (hard requirement/preference)
• Siemens Espree 1.5T large bore MRI experience preferred
• Ability to float to other areas as needed
• Local candidates outside a 50-mile radius not accepted; confirm radius with recruiter
