Responsibilities When our guests walk through our doors, they expect personalized, professional service in an atmosphere of relaxed elegance, and that's exactly what we deliver. Greet incoming and departing Guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact; escort them to assigned dining area; present menus; announce server’s name Answer incoming calls to the restaurant and provide appropriate service Use Yelp Guest Manager to coordinate wait lists, reservations, private parties, server sections Work closely with management to give accurate wait times and accommodate large parties Assist with stocking and light cleaning of restrooms Sanitize all menus after guest use Maintain a clean, orderly, sanitary workspace Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Assists or completes other tasks as requested by management Must be available to work nights and weekends Skills Preferred 1 year experience in fine dining & high-volume establishments Ability to communicate with teammates and management effectively Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks Ability to work with management staff and other employees in a professional manner Enthusiastic about hospitality, possesses an excellent work ethic and a positive attitude in a team. environment, and has an ability to learn new information quickly Ability to stand, walk, bend and kneel for up to 8 hours a day Be able to lift 30+lbs as needed Availability to work weekends and holidays Maintain a professional appearance Must have current California Food Handler Card or willingness and ability to obtain California Food Handling Card before first day of employment Benefits Closed on most major holidays Employee dine-in discounts $16.90 hr plus tips #J-18808-Ljbffr
