Position Physical Therapist (PT) - PRN More About Our Team We are housed in a brand-new outpatient gym where our rehab team is committed to community outreach including hosting a monthly stroke support group. We offer one-on-one patient interactions, a strong team culture, rotating weekends, and opportunities for growth and development. We balance new techniques and specialties including dry needling, certified hand therapy, and FEES, with a personalized, community-focused approach to healthcare. How You Will Contribute A Physical Therapist (PT) who excels in this role: Performs initial and ongoing assessments of patient condition and functional status. Develops and updates an individualized plan of care in collaboration with the patient, based on goals and capabilities. Plans, prepares, and carries out evidence-based interventions to maintain, improve, or restore function; alleviate pain; and prevent dysfunction. Delivers therapy using standard PT techniques and modalities appropriate to patient age and condition (e.g., moist heat/cold, ultrasound, UV/IR lamps, therapeutic exercise, manual therapy). Administers physical agents and operates PT equipment safely; performs necessary set-up and checks. Evaluates, fits, and adjusts prosthetic and orthotic devices; recommends modifications as needed. Identifies/document goals, anticipated progress, and timelines; plans for reevaluation and discharge. Directs and supervises PTAs, students, and support personnel; delegates tasks appropriately and ensures clear communication. Accurately documents assessments, interventions, patient response, education, and progress toward goals. Participates in performance improvement and continuing education; performs other duties as assigned. What We Are Looking For Bachelor's degree (PT) Current VA PT license. BLS required within 30 days of hire.
