Life Enrichment Assistant / Driver (Hybrid Role)

Pay: $13.00–$15.00/hour | Part-Time or Full-Time | Flexible Schedule

Charter Senior Living of Augusta is seeking an energetic and compassionate Life Enrichment Assistant / Driver to join our team.

Clean driving record (required)

Comfortable driving a community bus and transporting residents

Valid driver’s license

Experience working with seniors preferred

The Life Enrichment Assistant / Driver supports the Life Enrichment Director in creating and delivering engaging daily activities while also providing safe and reliable transportation for residents.

This role plays a key part in enhancing residents’ quality of life through connection, engagement, and meaningful experiences .

Assist in planning and leading daily social, recreational, educational, and therapeutic activities

Encourage resident participation and engagement

Support group and one-on-one programming

Help maintain activity calendars and event preparation

Safely transport residents to appointments and community outings

Assist residents entering and exiting the community bus

Ensure resident safety during transport and outings

Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any concerns

Work closely with the Life Enrichment Director and care team

Support a positive and engaging environment for residents

Assist with additional community activities and events as needed

Previous experience in activities, recreation, or senior living preferred

Comfortable driving larger vehicles such as a community bus

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Reliable, organized, and able to work independently

Positive attitude with a passion for working with seniors

Ability to work assigned shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
