3D Character Artist

Overview Valve is an entertainment and technology company that builds and releases experiences worldwide. We are looking for talented character artists experienced in character design and sculpting. Responsibilities Sculpt high-resolution character models using tools such as ZBrush, Mudbox, or 3DCoat. Create low-resolution model versions for game integration. Author high-quality textures that support PBR workflows. Collaborate with concept artists to iterate on character designs. Work closely with animators to build characters that can move and perform believably. Participate in interdisciplinary design teams, ensuring characters function within the game design context. Qualifications Experience in character modeling, sculpting, and texturing for games. Proficiency with ZBrush, Mudbox, or 3DCoat, and understanding of PBR pipelines. Strong collaboration skills working with artists, designers, and animators. Ability to translate creative concepts into functional, optimized game assets.
