Project Support - Engineering

Akkodis is seeking a Project Support - Engineering for a Contract with a client in Scarborough, ME. The ideal candidate will support manufacturing and facilities operations by driving process improvements, training technicians, and ensuring adherence to quality and compliance standards.

Rate Range: $25hour to $26/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.


Project Support - Engineering Job Responsibilities include:

• Drive process improvements using Lean methodology to enhance efficiency, quality, and operational performance.
• Support facilities operations by running automation systems and working hands-on with equipment and processes.
• Develop and update training materials, and train/retrain technicians on SOPs and PMSOPs.
• Troubleshoot equipment and material issues, escalating findings and collaborating on corrective solutions.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards (GMP, ISO) across operations.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to improve processes and maintain steady production output.

Required Qualifications:

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Biomedical, or related Engineering field.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience or prior internship exposure in manufacturing, facilities, or engineering environments.
• Understanding of GMP/ISO standards and ability to work effectively in regulated manufacturing environments.
• Strong hands-on aptitude with equipment troubleshooting, process improvement, and ability to train and support technicians.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $26.00 per hour
