CT Technologist

Role: Full-time CT Technologist responsible for operating CT equipment and performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Key Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic CT scans using proper exposure factors and protocols to produce accurate images. Assist in complex invasive CT procedures with sterile techniques. Start intravenous sites, assess and inject contrast as needed. Practice radiation safety and maintain equipment in good condition. Document patient information, prepare images for interpretation, and ensure accurate data entry. Conduct quality assurance testing and maintain a safe, organized work environment. Provide clinical supervision and instruction to students, ensuring competency. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, graduate of AMA-approved radiology program. Registered with ARRT, hold CT state license, CPR certification may be required. Desirable: 3+ years of experience, ARRT Advanced CT certification, associate degree. Skills & Abilities: Operate CT equipment and organize patient flow efficiently. Effective communication with patients and staff. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to safety standards. Read and follow technical instructions; react calmly in emergencies. Maintain BLS/CPR skills.
