Senior Accountant

Our client, a well-established real estate investment and operating company, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their collaborative finance and accounting team. This role will support a portfolio of real estate assets and work closely with various cross-functional teams across the organization. The position offers broad exposure to operational accounting, reporting, financial analysis, and business operations within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities may include:

• Full-cycle accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of assets/entities
• Month-end and year-end close processes
• Journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Financial statement preparation and supporting schedules
• Collaboration with teams across accounting, operations, investments, and development
• Assisting with process improvements, reporting initiatives, and ad hoc projects

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
• Approximately 4+ years of accounting experience, ideally with exposure to full-cycle accounting
• Strong foundation in general ledger accounting and financial reporting
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and curiosity to learn
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Real estate industry experience is helpful but not required; interest in the space is highly valued
