Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor and Delivery

Evening/Night shifts

3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts

Hours: 1900-0800

Active RN Licensure in Washington State or Compact Licensure

Current certifications in BLS, NRP, and FHM

Adherence to nursing practices and unit standards

Knowledge of and compliance with the Washington Nurse Practice Act

A minimum of 3 years of travel experience in Labor and Delivery, as well as couplet care/postpartum/mother-baby is required.

Coordinate and provide high-quality patient care, ensuring a compassionate approach

Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, continually reassessing their effectiveness

Administer medications and complete nursing procedures and treatments

Evaluate discharge plans for appropriateness and address educational needs

Document assessments, care provided, and responses accurately

Conduct ongoing holistic assessments of patients and respond appropriately

Determine and execute appropriate nursing actions to meet the physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs of patients

Provide timely health information and educational material to patients and families

Stay current with workflows, processes, and evidence-based practices

Delegate tasks and oversee care provided by non-licensed assistive personnel

Engage in performance evaluation and improvement processes

Collaborate and communicate effectively with all members of the healthcare team

Maintain a clean and safe environment according to hospital policies

Must float as a sitter; may float in rotation as needed

On-call duties may be required
