About the Role:

The BMS Physician Internal Medicine FT position is a full-time role dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to adult patients within a multidisciplinary healthcare setting. The physician will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through evidence-based practices. This role involves collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans and coordinate patient care effectively. Minimum Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an accredited residency program in Internal Medicine.
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine.
• Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the United States.
• Demonstrated ability to provide patient-centered care and work effectively within a healthcare team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment or hospital setting.
• Fellowship training or additional certification in subspecialties of internal medicine (e.g., cardiology, endocrinology).
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telemedicine platforms.
• Strong background in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Experience in teaching or mentoring medical students, residents, or other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations including history taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing to identify medical conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical guidelines and patient needs.
• Manage acute and chronic illnesses, adjusting treatments as necessary to optimize patient health outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including nurses, specialists, and allied health professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Provide patient education on disease prevention, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications to support long-term health.
• Document patient encounters accurately and maintain up-to-date medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education to stay current with advances in internal medicine.
