Job Overview

• Position: CT Scan Tech
• Facility: MUSC (Heart and Vascular Hospital / ART)
• Facility Type: 865-bed Teaching, Magnet, Level 1 Trauma Hospital
• Location: South Carolina

Schedule & Compensation

• Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30), Friday - Sunday
• On-Call: None required
• Guaranteed Hours: Facility can call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Local Policy: Candidates within 60 miles accepted case-by-case at 10% lower bill rate

Key Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 1 year preferred, 6 months Level 1 Trauma required, Siemens equipment experience required
• Licensure: ARRT RT (R)(CT), BLS, and SCRQSA (SC license) in hand at start
• Equipment: Siemens Naeotom Alpha Photon counting and Siemens X.Cite (both running Somaris 10)
• Radiation Badge: Agency must provide. Facility does not supply badges to travelers

Clinical Environment

• Daily Caseload: ~60 exams per day across 3 rooms
• Caseload Mix: 75% Cardiac exams, remaining are routine, stroke, and IR procedures (biopsies, drainages)
• Scrub Color: Teal top, Black bottom
• Charting: Epic
