POSITION: Assistant Men's Basketball Coach

LOCATION: Bottineau, ND

WHO MAY BE CONSIDERED: Must be eligible to work in the United States. There is no sponsorship for this position.

TYPE OF APPOINTMENT: This is a part-time, non-benefitted position.

BACKGROUND CHECK: DCB does require a successful background check for the selected candidate prior to beginning employment.

JOB SUMMARY: Responsibilities include: assisting the head coach with recruiting, practice, scouting, game day activities, equipment inventory and care, organizational planning and player/personnel management.

Minimum qualifications include a strong background and experience in basketball, ability to represent DCB in a professional manner at all times, valid driver's license, and good interpersonal skills. Preferred qualifications are prior playing or coaching at college level, knowledge of NJCAA rules and regulations, and good written and oral communication skills.

HOURS: Requires the ability to work flexible hours, weekends and evenings.

SALARY: This is an entry level position and pay is up to $5000 per school year. Housing may be provided. Other employment may be available within the community.
