Come and experience your future!The work involves:Directly supporting the Operations Control Account Managers (CAMs) in the Earned Value Management (EVM) of hardware and associated support costs, primarily in the SAP® Common Operating System environment.Investigation and understanding of variances to plan & the ability to talk intelligently to the numbers. It will not be just about the numbers - the WHY behind the numbers is a big part.Support of a monthly Business Rhythm, Program Reviews and other miscellaneous tasks.Establish & maintain a tight and close partnership with the Manufacturing Program Managers (MPM's) to keep them abreast of the financial health of their programs, allowing the financial analyst to add great value to the MPM.This analyst will be a contributing member of a collaborative team environment, working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to support business decisions and outcomes.Develop knowledge of our Material Management & Accounting System (MMAS) to ensure program and operations activity remains compliant.Possess a self-starter mentality: understanding what needs to be done without day-to-day direction, take initiative to suggest creative approaches and solutions to assignments/challenges.Have a positive, can-do attitude and the motivational fit to evolve as an expert.US Citizenship is required.Lockheed Martin is a global leader in defense, aerospace, and advanced technologies. Will include some or all of the responsibilities as defined.Performs financial analysis, establishes performance management budgeting, and forecasting activities to include variance analysis, trend identification, workforce planning drivers, risk and opportunities assessment and development of mitigation plans.Integrates information from multiple financial systems, processes and functions in order to consolidate the data forensics into actionable business solution recommendations.Timely and accurately consolidates financial results (Orders, Sales, EBIT, Cash, ROIC, Overhead, Discretionary Funding) and monthly, quarterly and year end reporting to internal and external customers to include government contractual cost and schedule earned value management reporting.Develops and utilizes forward-looking data analytics, visualization and trend analysis to inform financial strategy and decision making.Develops and provides actionable recommendations to key stakeholders to make sound financial and operating decisions.Maintains applicable internal and external (FAR, CAS, SEC, US GAAP) policy, procedure, and controls for compliance to support internal process and external regulatory requirements.Provides subject matter expertise support to proposal development, basis of estimate and negotiations, as required.Established analytical, organizational, communication, and social skills.Advanced Excel skills.Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.Customer focused.Succeeds in constantly evolving environment.Strong problem-solving skills.Ability to balance conflicting priorities.Solid understanding of Earned Value Management concepts.Experience in the Deltek Earned Value Management (EVM) tool suite (Cobra, OpenPlan & PMCompass).Familiar with our Common Operating System (COS): SAP PM1.Understanding of Program Performance Management Process (PPMP).Demonstrate a collaborative nature.Seek out growth assignments.Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $59900.00 - $111300.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
