About The Role We are looking for a strong candidate that demonstrates exemplary communication and leadership skills. The ideal role for this technician is to serve as an extension of our internists and work as a team for the benefit of patient and client care. This technician will have an active role in client communication, including communication of diagnostic results and procedures as directed by the internist, diagnostic and procedural organization and facilitation, and assistance in the short- and long-term management of patients. The candidate should have a basic understanding of the various diseases seen in internal medicine and possess a strong passion and motivation for further learning. Diagnostic procedures this technician will assist in include, but are not limited to, endoscopy (urinary, respiratory, gastrointestinal), bone marrow sampling, joint taps, and feeding tube placements.
