Charge Nurse / Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | Four 10-hour shifts per week with rotational call

Key Responsibilities

• Perform circulating nurse duties within the Operating Room setting
• Support surgical procedures with a focus on orthopedic, neurological, and podiatric specialties
• Maintain patient safety and quality care standards throughout perioperative phases
• Participate in rotational on-call assignments as required by the department

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Strong Operating Room skill set, particularly in ortho, neuro, and podiatry procedures
• Experience in the circulator role within a surgical environment
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) certifications required (RQI not accepted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience as a Charge Nurse in an Operating Room environment
• Familiarity with a high-volume or acute care surgical setting
