The Postdoctoral Associate must have an MD, PhD or MD/PhD degree, and experience in clinical research. Baylor College of Medicine typically follows similar to the NIH stipulated stipend guidelines for Postdoctoral Associates. Job Duties Studies designs, conducts data analysis and interpretation in advanced endovascular aortic research within a collaborative, multidisciplinary research environment. Develops research protocols, facilitates IRB processes, and contributes to the coordination of multicenter clinical research studies. Comprehensive prospective or retrospective clinical data collection and management of projects on aortic disease research, that includes pre-, intra-, and post-procedural data collection, CTA measurements, and ultrasound interpretation. Writes manuscripts and presents results at both national and international professional conferences. Oversees patient consent, and completes case report forms (CRFs) and assessment of quality-of-life questionnaires. Oversees clinical data entry into electronic databases sourced from electronic medical records or other clinical databases. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications MD or Ph.D. in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field. No experience required.
