Description:

The role requires comprehensive experience in respiratory therapy services including ventilator management. Candidates should be capable of performing medicated aerosol treatments and BiPAP management. Responsibilities include intubation, arterial blood gas draws, and analysis as well as cardiac and COVID management. The position involves working with a diverse patient population from neonates to geriatrics. The department operates 24/7, providing full coverage across various hospital floors including an intensive care unit and emergency department. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is essential to ensure quality patient care. Candidates must possess the necessary certificates and state licensure as required for practice. The role necessitates flexibility in scheduling, including working every other weekend and major holidays. Compliance with all onboarding requirements is critical to maintaining the timeline for starting the position.
