Travel CT Technologist - CT Scan

American Traveler is hiring a CT Scan Technologist for a night shift position at a freestanding emergency department, requiring 2+ years of acute care CT experience and Canon/Toshiba system proficiency.

Job Details

• Freestanding emergency department (FSED) setting performing CT and X-ray exams,
• CT equipment is a Canon/Toshiba Aquillion 64; X-ray unit and portable are GE,
• EMR: Medhost EDIS with Change Healthcare PACS (McKesson),
• Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 7 days on / 7 days off block scheduling,
• No floating required,
• No on-call required,

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT experience in an acute care setting,
• ARRT certification required,
• Current BLS required,
• Texas Medical Board (TMB) Radiologic Technologist license required - license required if applicable,
• Hands-on experience with Canon/Toshiba CT systems required,
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position,

Additional Information

• Perform routine diagnostic CT procedures including head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures,
• Perform basic radiographic procedures including portable and freestanding ER X-ray exams,
• Responsibilities include studies with and without contrast media, surgical/sterile procedures, and cross-sectional anatomy knowledge,
• Works under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols,
• Black scrubs preferred; solid colors allowed,
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the contract start date,
• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration,
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered,
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
