Responsibilities:

• Plan, develop, and implement a comprehensive activity program that meets the diverse needs and interests of our residents

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to incorporate activities into daily routines and care plans

• Recruit, train, and supervise activity staff and volunteers to ensure program effectiveness

• Design and lead activities, such as art classes, exercise programs, and social events, to promote resident engagement and socialization

• Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal outcomes

• Build and maintain relationships with residents, families, and staff to foster a positive and inclusive community

• Maintain accurate records and reports of activities, participation, and resident feedback

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Recreation Therapy, Gerontology, or related field preferred

• 0 years of experience in a senior living setting; experience in activity direction, recreation therapy, or a related field a plus

• Ability to lift, bend, and perform physical tasks as needed

• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills

• Compassionate and empathetic approach to working with seniors
