Registered Nurse - Infectious Disease Unit

This is a 13-week contract position with 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) and weekends as scheduled.

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Infectious Disease Unit. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with various infectious diseases, including COVID-19, MRSA, and C-Diff. This unit consists of 18 private rooms and follows strict isolation precautions. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will work closely with a charge nurse and collaborate with support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with infectious diseases.

Maintain patient safety by adhering to isolation protocols.

Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions and responses to treatment.

Assume a full patient assignment as required.

Current RN license.

BLS certification (AHA).

Strong knowledge in MedSurg and infectious disease protocols.

Experience with isolation precautions and managing patients in acute care settings.
