Direct Client: Business Analyst @ Lansing, MI - HYBRID - Locals only

Business Analyst KSN Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Business Analyst for a 1-year contract based in Lansing, MI. The role is for local candidates only and requires no visa sponsorship. The contract is 1.5 years with the possibility to convert to full-time in 1-2 years. At the time of conversion, the candidate must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship by the State of Michigan. Hybrid schedule: onsite from day 1, two days a week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays). The first month requires onsite presence 5 days per week for onboarding. Must be located within one hour of Lansing, MI. Top Skills & Years of Experience Experience as a Business Analyst (3+ years). Candidates must also have QA experience. Experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst (3+ years). Candidates must also have BA experience. Azure DevOps knowledge – or similar tool like JIRA (comfortable with creating epics/features/user stories for projects as well as moving cards through project lifecycle) (3+ years) Understanding of BA, QA, DEV roles/responsibilities (3+ years) Experienced with as-is/to-be processes and content creation (3+ years) Experience with creating product roadmap (3+ years) Familiarity with Project Management Methodologies/Agile (3+ years) Adept with using BA tools (e.g., FIGMA, Visio) (3+ years) Responsibilities Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements. Develop process flows, use cases, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria. Translate business needs into technical specifications for development teams. Create test plans, test scenarios, and detailed test cases based on requirements. Execute functional, integration, and regression testing; log and track defects. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and coordinate with business partners. Validate that delivered solutions meet documented requirements and quality standards. Collaborate with developers, project managers, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues. Assist with system demonstrations, training materials, and production validation. Ensure documentation remains accurate and updated throughout the project lifecycle.
