Business Development Manager

A rapidly growing organization in the Manufacturing Industry seeking a Business Development Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of OEM furniture manufacturing accounts throughout the Midwestern U.S. furniture market. This is an excellent opportunity for a consultative sales professional looking to advance into OEM and National/Key Account leadership. Key Responsibilities Manage and grow existing OEM customer relationships while identifying new business opportunities, programs, and product applications. Develop strategic account plans, manage sales pipelines, forecasts, pricing, and contract negotiations to drive profitable growth. Build strong relationships with purchasing, engineering, quality, operations, and executive stakeholders within customer organizations. Partner with internal technical, product, customer service, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure exceptional customer support and execution. Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows throughout the territory. Qualifications 5+ years of B2B sales, account management, or business development experience supporting OEM manufacturers, preferably within the furniture, building products, wood products, components, or related manufacturing industries. Proven success managing and expanding key customer accounts through consultative, relationship-based selling. Strong skills in pricing strategy, negotiations, forecasting, pipeline management, and cross-functional collaboration. Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills with the ability to work independently in a territory-based role.
