Description:
This position is auto-offer.
The role is focused on providing direct patient care activities for all age groups.
Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
Monitors and coordinates patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient outcomes.
Functions within the scope of nursing preparation and established guidelines of nursing practice.
Maintains professional accountability for the provision of patient care.
Evaluates the effectiveness of care provided by other direct care staff.
Coordinates patient care in collaboration with other departments.
Ensures patient rights and confidentiality of patient information are maintained.
Utilizes the nursing process to deliver care for patients with diverse medical and surgical needs.
Physical requirements may include lifting and turning patients with assistance.
Expectations include standing and walking throughout shifts and meeting unit-specific physical demands.
Must be flexible with work schedules according to patient care requirements.
High-risk exposure to blood and body fluids may be present.
Engages in work consistent with the mission, values, and service standards.
